Maybe it's because I've never liked Germany, I always thought, America is much better than Germany, and I wanted to see that I was wrong. I know, that sounds weird, so I say, I wanted to know more about America, or stuff like that, what is also basically true. I never wanted to go to the USA because of improving my English. That wouldn't worth the year because I'm not talented in languages.
Anyways, today I know, that there are some things which are better in Hamburg than in the little redneck town Lubbock. For people from Hamburg, laws and stuff like that are not too important, and we have less criminality. In Hamburg, religion hasn't a big role in christians' lives, what makes them more tolerant because there's no real difference between an average atheist Hamburger and an average christian Hamburger.
But I still think that many things in the USA are better than in Germany.
And there are different places in the US than Lubbock, TX.
